This is an early model French military waterproof parka from the 1990s to early 2000s.

The early model does not have a pocket on the outside of the front,
The snap button caps that fasten the placket do not stick out, giving it a clean design.

The fabric is a three-layer structure that uses a waterproof and breathable membrane equivalent to Gore-Tex, and is slightly softer than the successor model.

The front opening is designed with a double zipper and double placket to prevent rain and wind from entering.

The collar is a stand-up collar that covers the neck and is also windproof.
The hood is folded down and stored in the collar.

The arms have ventilation that opens wide with a zipper.

The hood, collar and hem can be tightened with drawstrings.

The sleeves can be tightened with Velcro.

There are two zippered chest pockets on the inside of the front placket.
