We have a selection of vintage watches made during the pre-Soviet era.
This was during the communist Soviet Union, so there was little trade with Western capitalist countries and the watch was made by a Soviet state-run watch manufacturer. This vintage watch has been completely overhauled, and not only has it been fitted with a new leather strap, but the glass on the watch face has also been replaced with a new one.
The inside has been disassembled and old parts have been replaced, so you can use it with confidence.
The watch movement is a screw-type, which was the mainstream at the time.
This type of watch requires winding the crown every 24 to 48 hours.
Unlike Western manufacturers, they are made for hardworking workers with a simple and sturdy design. I think it would be great to use such an attractive watch as an accessory.
